Liberty Creek Aviation is the only High School Aviation CTE Pathway in Sumner County, TN. The program is hosted at the new Liberty Creek High School in Gallatin. The primary focus of this program is to educate students about aviation and aerospace and the various career opportunities available. Students completing the pathway will have the opportunity to pass the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test as well as the Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate Test to earn their Commercial Drone License. Students will learn to fly on our FAA approved Advanced Aviation Training Devices and Basic Aviation Training Devices (flight simulators). They will also experience flight using a wide variety of unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, including FPV and autonomous flight.
