The Aviation Pathway is lead by Mr. Chris Peterson. Mr. Peterson is a Commercial Pilot as well as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI). He earned his Private Pilot Certificate in 2002. He earned his instrument rating and commercial certificate as well as his instructor certifications from ATP Flight School in 2004. He taught primary flight instruction and instrument instruction at Alliance International Aviation at the Chino Airport in Southern California for nine years. He also flew missions for Pilots and Paws as well as the Husky Rescue Network to help newly adopted dogs arrive with their new families. He currently works as a Flight Instructor for Jet Access at the Music City Executive Airport.

Mr. Peterson holds a Masters degree in Educational Technology. In 2019, he received his Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (commercial drone license). Mr. Peterson is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). He hopes to inspire and mentor the next generation of pilots.
